EconomyHKEX extends overnight derivatives trading as Hong Kong courts global market flows
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing plans to extend its after-hours derivatives session by 75 minutes, moving the close from 3am to 4.15am Hong Kong time from March 2027. The change is subject to regulatory approval and system readiness; HKEX is also considering a further extension.
