PoliticsTop Russian security official calls West a breeding ground for human vices, touts Russia’s strength
Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu said Western countries had become a breeding ground for the worst human vices and accused the West of seeking to undermine Russian statehood from within. He said Russia’s strength rests on economic and technological sovereignty, military capabilities, public unity and trust in government, and reiterated that Moscow does not plan to attack Europe. Shoigu added that Europe’s role in the planned Ukraine talks in Abu Dhabi requires discussion by all three sides.
