Russian LNG deliveries to the EU increased 10% year on year to 16.5 billion cubic meters in January-September 2026, according to TASS estimates based on Bruegel data, compared with 15 billion a year earlier. Europe imported 10.4 billion cubic meters of LNG in September, while EU natural gas purchases fell 5% to 104 billion cubic meters over the nine-month period.
