WorldXi and Peru’s president exchange congratulations on 55 years of diplomatic ties
Xi Jinping and Peruvian President Keiko Fujimori exchanged congratulations on the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations. Xi said ties had developed steadily and that an upgraded China-Peru free trade agreement protocol, effective Sunday, would boost economic cooperation. Fujimori reaffirmed Peru’s commitment to the one-China principle and closer dialogue and cooperation with China.
