ScienceResearchers find way to optimize biodiesel by blending rapeseed, linseed oils

Scientists including researchers from Tomsk Polytechnic University say blending rapeseed, linseed and safflower oils at 90%, 5% and 5% can produce biodiesel with target properties without chemical additives. Their models indicate that using regionally available oils can cut logistics costs by 10% to 15% compared with imported raw materials.
