Matthew Maurice, 26, caught an 80cm barramundi carrying a red tag during a night fishing trip near Darwin with his brother. The fish won the top prize in the Northern Territory’s Million Dollar Fish competition. Maurice said he plans to use the money wisely, including buying a house and paying off debts.
