World'Suspicious object' enters Latvian airspace near Belarus, Russia border
Latvian armed forces said a flying object briefly entered the country's airspace near the Russian and Belarusian borders on Nov. 1, around Kraslava and Ludza. The military said less than an hour later that the incursion had ended and the threat had left. It deployed an interceptor drone and activated its self-destruct protocol to avoid entering Russian or Belarusian airspace. The object's origin, and whether it was a drone, remain unclear.
