SportsXi's special envoy attends opening ceremony of 4th Youth Olympic Games

Gao Zhidan, Chinese President Xi Jinping's special envoy and head of China's General Administration of Sport, attended the fourth Youth Olympic Games opening ceremony in Dakar and met Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye. Gao said China seeks to deepen cooperation with Senegal and use the Olympic movement to promote peace, unity and inclusiveness. Faye thanked China for its support for Senegal's development and hosting of the Games.
