Culture‘Caravan of Gratitude’ to open in Chinese theaters on November 6
The film, based on a true story, follows two brothers who pushed their mother to Beijing in a homemade handcart and then accompanied her across more than 600 cities over 517 days. Director Ma Daishan said the movie brings filial piety into modern daily life. It previously received a special award from the Macau International Movie Festival’s Golden Lotus Awards committee.
