Washington, DC, and Virginia have jointly sued to stop construction of Donald Trump’s proposed triumphal arch before work begins, calling the project “flagrantly unlawful” and “legally indefensible”. The lawsuit cites disruption to commuting and emergency traffic as well as pollution concerns. It is the third lawsuit targeting the monument.
