The Board of Peace is seeking to de-escalate the situation in Gaza after the latest series of strikes. Envoy Nickolay Mladenov stressed that both Israel and the radical Palestinian movement Hamas are responsible for carrying out the terms of the peace agreement. Both sides are therefore expected to fulfill their obligations under the accord.
