EconomyDRC seeks economic partnership with Russia, president says
President Felix Tshisekedi said the DRC wants to work with Russia to diversify its economy and pursue investment cooperation. He named energy, natural-resource processing, agriculture and digital technologies as priority areas. Tshisekedi said development depends on peace in eastern DRC and hoped for Russian support to extend the UN peacekeeping mission there.
