TechGoogle’s AI satellite sends its first response to Earth

Google says it successfully started the Tensor Processing Units aboard its AI-equipped satellite, enabling its Gemma 4 model to generate a space-themed haiku. The test is part of Project Suncatcher; Google says it will next assess the TPUs under thermal stress and radiation in orbit.
