ScienceAnalysts say looming launch crisis is more severe than expected
A new Quilty Space report says the world outside China faces a rocket shortage over the next five years. It estimates roughly 150 fewer launches than satellite operators and civil space agencies need by 2030. Including US military demand could double the shortfall if SpaceX does not expand Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy operations. Research director Caleb Henry says the crisis may persist until late in the 2030s.
