WorldGhana’s president says Russia has always stood by Africa
At a meeting with Vladimir Putin, Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama said Russia has consistently supported Africa through difficult times. He cited Russia’s supply of the Sputnik vaccine during the COVID-19 pandemic and said the third Russia-Africa summit in Moscow would deepen ties. Mahama also recalled that Moscow was among the first to recognize Ghana’s independence.
