Iran’s IRGC Navy said two tankers switched off navigation and positioning systems and, with US military support, tried to leave the Strait of Hormuz by an unauthorized route. After ignoring repeated radio warnings, they entered a dangerous zone and were stopped in the strait’s southern waters.
