Tech2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid drives like an EV, without a plug

Nissan is launching its new Rogue SUV with the latest e-Power hybrid system. In this series-hybrid setup, the gasoline engine generates electricity to charge the battery, which powers the electric motor. The 2027 model has a 1.5-liter, three-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 148 hp, tuned for battery charging and achieving 42 percent thermal efficiency.
