At a meeting with Sudan’s Sovereignty Council chairman Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Vladimir Putin said trade and economic relations were progressing despite Sudan’s political challenges. Bilateral trade more than doubled in 2025 and grew another 25% from January through August.
