A special commission has found that repairing and modernizing the nuclear-powered missile cruiser Pyotr Veliky is impractical. Vladimir Maltsev, head of the All-Russian Movement in Support of the Navy, called the ship irreparable but said the finding is preliminary and no final decision has been announced.
