Australian athlete Joanna Wietrzyk told the BBC she accepts responsibility for putting others at risk by continuing to race after suffering diarrhoea at a Hyrox event in Beijing. She said her focus on winning clouded her judgement, apologised to those affected and described the backlash as traumatic. She had considered leaving the sport.
