TechSu-57 fighter has high modernization potential, Sukhoi Design Bureau chief says
Sukhoi Design Bureau director Mikhail Strelets said the Su-57’s modular platform can support upgraded variants, including a two-seat combat trainer, a ship-borne version and an unmanned aircraft. Off-the-shelf components and assemblies could also be used to develop a light tactical aircraft.
