Economy‘Scattergun’ budget will still leave Britons facing higher energy bills, thinktank says
The Resolution Foundation said John Healey’s budget poorly targeted support, giving the richest half of households almost as much as the poorest. It said energy measures would still leave bills above levels during the last energy shock, and forecast typical disposable incomes to fall by £1,050 by the end of the parliamentary term in 2028-29.
