WorldGironde megafire contained: Nearly 3,000 firefighters remain deployed

A huge wildfire near Bordeaux in France has been brought under control, while some sections of the blaze are still burning. Most of the roughly 200,000 people ordered to evacuate have now returned to their homes. The fire has scorched an area four times the size of Paris. Nearly 3,000 firefighters remain deployed as operations continue around the affected zone.
