TechHP’s HyperX Omen 15 isn’t as budget-friendly as its predecessor

HP’s HyperX Omen 15 replaces the Victus 15, a long-running bestseller among budget gaming laptops. The Victus started at just $800 and could cost even less during sales, making it an accessible way into capable laptop gaming. The Omen 15 brings several small improvements over that model, including an RTX 5050. Even so, the newer machine does not preserve the predecessor’s notably budget-friendly appeal.
