Recent unrest in Europe and war in the Middle East may lead investors to diversify more, potentially bringing capital to Asian markets, including mainland China and Hong Kong, in coming months, said Julie Koo, AllianzGI’s Asia-Pacific head of distribution. She said protests in France, Italy and Spain would prompt investors to review and adjust their exposure.
