Mohamed Amersi is suing the BBC over a 2021 Panorama programme and article alleging grounds to suspect his involvement in corrupt Telia deals. At the opening of the seven-week trial, his lawyer said the coverage caused very serious harm and cost Amersi a knighthood and peerage.
