WorldSpain high-speed train crash kills at least 68

At least 68 people died and 58 needed hospital treatment after a high-speed train struck a stopped train in Spain’s Toledo province on Wednesday, derailing both. Rescuers continued searching the wreckage. Transport Minister Óscar Puente blamed an “inexplicable” decision by the central control center to clear a RENFE train to proceed after a safety-system failure; the crash remains under investigation.
