TechSouth Korea fines Google and Apple over app payment systems
South Korea has fined Google and Apple a combined 63.7 billion won (€42.7 million), saying they steered app developers toward their own payment systems and delayed app reviews. The penalties add to a series of sanctions the US tech giants face over app store rules, including in the EU.
