TechRussia tests SOVA autonomous navigation system for UAVs
Russia’s Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies says the SOVA autonomous navigation system has passed field tests. It uses computer vision to compare onboard camera images with satellite maps and locate UAVs when GPS/GNSS or external communications are unavailable or jammed. Its developer says it can raise mission reliability to 99%.
