An exhibition marking 80 years since the Tokyo Trial opened at UN Headquarters in New York on Monday. It displays photographs, archival records and publications about investigations and prosecutions of Japanese war crimes during World War II. China’s UN envoy Fu Cong said the trial upheld the post-war order and international law, and criticized Japanese right-wing forces for questioning its legitimacy and glossing over aggression. The Chinese mission organized the exhibition during UN International Law Week.
