WorldCeuta enclave ‘almost’ back to normal after migrant influx
Officials say nearly all migrants who entered Spain’s Ceuta enclave had departed by Saturday. An estimated 60,000 people crossed into Ceuta from neighbouring Morocco over only a few days, while at least 67 died during the attempt. Spain plans to put up a 500-metre containment barrier along the sea border. At the same time, most EU countries have urged emergency discussions in an open letter to the bloc’s interior ministers.
