WorldCeuta: Spain slams ‘selfish’ EU partners

Officials said that almost all migrants who entered Spain’s enclave of Ceuta had left by Saturday. An estimated 60,000 people crossed into the enclave from neighbouring Morocco over only a few days, and at least 67 died during the attempt. Spain plans to build a 500-metre containment barrier along its sea border. At the same time, most EU countries signed an open letter urging the bloc’s interior ministers to hold emergency talks.
