PoliticsBRICS parliaments call for UN reform

A joint declaration issued after the 12th BRICS Parliamentary Forum called for comprehensive reform of the United Nations and its Security Council, saying the changes should make the organization more just, democratic, representative and effective. The declaration also reaffirmed support for multilateralism and international law and described the UN as central to the international system.
