WorldThe final hit: Is Glasgow’s 25-year gangland feud finally over?

A double assassination on Spain’s Costa del Sol may have brought the 25-year war between the Lyons and Daniels gangs to an end. Eddie Lyons Jr, 46, was shot at close range outside a seafront bar in Fuengirola after a masked gunman approached his table. The attacker then aimed at bar owner Ross Monaghan, 43, but the weapon jammed. The killings suggest the feud may be over, while the crimes linked to it have not disappeared.
