WorldGermany plans to buy Ukrainian Bars missiles
Germany is preparing to purchase Ukrainian-made Bars cruise missiles for its armed forces, with an initial agreement expected in the coming weeks, the Financial Times reports. If technical tests succeed, Berlin could order several hundred. The missiles can reach up to 1,000 kilometers and carry a payload of up to 105 kilograms. Ukraine uses them against military sites and energy infrastructure in Russia. The deal would be the first known purchase by the Bundeswehr of Ukrainian-designed offensive weapons for its own use.
