The Democratic Republic of the Congo’s National Institute of Public Health reported 4,803 laboratory-confirmed Ebola deaths, 9,876 infected people and a 48.6% mortality rate. The outbreak began in the DRC and Uganda on May 15; figures for the current outbreak also list 9,907 infections and 4,807 deaths.
