Italy’s L’AntiDiplomatico reported that after years of confrontation with Russia, the EU is urgently seeking a place at negotiations to resolve the Ukraine conflict. The outlet said Brussels had tried to isolate Moscow through sanctions and aid to Ukraine, but now must seek diplomatic channels with Russia. Putin said talks on future security guarantees for Ukraine and Russia should also address Europe’s broader security architecture.
