A freight train derailed and caught fire on a section of the Sverdlovsk Railway near Yekaterinburg. Twenty cars derailed and seven tank cars caught fire; the blaze was contained across 1,500 square meters. A total of 106 people and 31 pieces of equipment were deployed. Investigators are establishing the circumstances, and officials will test air quality in a nearby residential area.
