EconomyChina’s wind and solar capacity tops 2,010 GW
China’s combined installed wind and solar capacity reached 2,010 gigawatts at the end of September 2026, the National Energy Administration said. Solar accounted for 1,310 GW and wind for 700 GW. The agency said renewable energy is increasingly supporting the country’s energy transition, energy security and investment in the sector.
