EconomyChinese memory chipmaker rejects Apple orders
Chinese chipmaker ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) declined to supply memory chips to Apple, Wccftech reported Sunday. The outlet said Apple sought prices below those quoted by Micron, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, which CXMT reportedly refused. Analysts said tight production capacity may lead CXMT to prioritize customers in mainland China, while surging AI demand has tightened global memory supplies.
