CultureA Dream of Reunification

Shan Sheng spent more than six decades abroad and was a committed supporter of China's reunification. A trained lawyer, he made a significant contribution to drafting the Anti-Secession Law, adopted in March 2005. He called that day the happiest of his life. He also donated his ancestral home and hundreds of precious artifacts to establish a museum in his hometown, and continued to dream of reunification across the Taiwan Strait until his death.
