China held events on Sunday to mark the 81st anniversary of Taiwan’s recovery and Taiwan Recovery Day. A symposium in Fuzhou drew about 200 participants, who called for carrying forward the history of resistance against Japanese aggression and voiced support for national reunification. Commemorations were also held in Beijing, Shanghai and Zhejiang.
