Kraken’s parent company wants a role in customers’ finances before they buy Bitcoin and after they sell it. On Oct. 14, Payward agreed to acquire Finland-based Saldo Finance Oy, owner of Lithuania’s Saldo Bank. The deal is expected to close in 2027, subject to regulatory approval.
