World‘Unusually large’ multi-state storm brings flood warnings and severe weather to eastern Australia
The Bureau of Meteorology warned that severe thunderstorms could bring hail, damaging winds, flash flooding and power outages to southern Queensland, western New South Wales, the ACT and eastern Victoria on Sunday. Eight flood warnings were in place in southern Queensland, with storms and flood risk expected to continue into Monday.
