WorldRescue efforts continue after magnitude-7.0 quake in China's Xizang

Rescue and relief work continues after a magnitude-7.0 earthquake struck Baqen County in Nagqu, Xizang Autonomous Region. The quake killed 16 people, injured 76 and damaged or destroyed 339 homes and 20 livestock sheds. More than 2,500 rescue personnel are working in the area, where 834 aftershocks have been recorded.
