WorldLive: Hundreds of protests expected in France amid high tensions and heavy police presence

A coalition of the Yellow Vests movement, labor unions and students plans marches across France on Saturday, focusing on study conditions and purchasing power. Authorities will deploy about 70,000 police and fear looting and ransacking like that seen alongside protests last Saturday, which drew at least 550,000 participants.
