Two earthquakes occurred off Taiwan’s eastern coast on Saturday night, the island’s Central Meteorological Administration said. Their epicenters were about 31 km and 30 km east of Hualien, at depths of 15.4 km and 16.6 km. The strongest shaking was reported in Hualien and Nantou counties; no damage or casualties have been reported.
