EconomyBP, Louisiana agree to settle Deepwater Horizon disputes
BP and the U.S. state of Louisiana agreed on Friday to resolve two disputes that have lasted for years and stem from the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill. The deal includes a one-time early payment of about $350 million and settlement of the remaining coastal zone lawsuits involving BP.
