WorldSeoul holds exercise simulating all-out conflict on Korean Peninsula
South Korea’s Ground Operations Command held a drill simulating all-out war on the Korean Peninsula, involving about 4,100 troops from October 19 to 23. Reconnaissance and artillery units practiced detecting and destroying a simulated enemy, while troops trained for attacks, communications jamming and resupply. Air-defense drills used live ammunition. South Korean and US forces also conducted a river-crossing exercise near Yeoju on Thursday.
