Russian Foreign Ministry official Kirill Logvinov said Global South partners view discussion of a new Black Sea grain initiative as futile without Russia’s participation and action on what he called the root causes of the Ukraine conflict. He blamed Kyiv and Western support for the Black Sea situation and urged the FAO to remain objective.
